Composite Panel Garage DoorCustom Garage Door

Most off‑the‑shelf garage doors are designed around "average dimensions" and generic styles. But in reality, almost no house fits the average. Your garage might be wider, taller, or built on a sloped driveway. Standard doors often require on‑site cutting, gap filling, or even structural changes during installation - compromising both appearance and long‑term safety.

Beyond size, the real limitation is design. Pre‑made doors offer a very narrow choice of colors and materials. Yet your home's exterior, driveway, and windows are unique. A mismatched garage door doesn't just look out of place - it actively lowers your home's curb appeal.

How to Customize Your Garage Door?

Follow our professional engineering guide to configure your perfect custom entry system.

01

Step 1: Measure the Door Opening

1. Width Measurement

Measure the width at top, middle, and bottom of the door opening. Use the smallest value as the final width.

2. Height Measurement

Measure the height at left, center, and right of the door opening. Use the smallest value as the final height.

3. Depth (Thickness) Measurement

Measure the wall thickness (depth of the door opening) to select the correct track and hardware.

Note:CUSTOM GARAGE DOOR

Measure the clear opening size (inner masonry or concrete structure), excluding old door, frames, or existing tracks.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Measuring only one point
Measuring the old door panel instead of the wall opening

Forgetting to measure wall depth
Measuring height from an uneven floor without checking the highest point

Step 2: Choose Style

1. Classic Flat Panel

Smooth and flat surface with clean lines. Suitable for modern and minimalist homes. No extra decoration – versatile and durable.

2. Wood Grain Embossed

Embossed wood texture that looks and feels like real wood, but retains the strength and maintenance-free benefits of metal. No regular painting or staining required.

3. Window Style

Decorative glass windows on the upper section of the panel. Increases natural light inside the garage and enhances overall appearance.

4. Custom Relief

Custom textures, patterns, or logos are available upon request. We will check if production is possible.

💡

Tip: When choosing a style, consider your home's exterior design (roof, wall finish, entry door) to maintain visual harmony.

03

Step 3: Choose Material

Garage door material directly affects durability, insulation, maintenance cost, and appearance. Choose based on your needs:

Material Features Best For
Galvanized Steel Most common. High strength, rust-resistant, cost-effective. Available in single-layer or double-layer (insulated sandwich) Most homes, moderate budget
Aluminum Lightweight, rust-proof, available in many colors and glass options. Lower strength than steel – dents easier Glass doors, humid climates, modern style
Stainless Steel Extremely corrosion-resistant, strong and durable. Higher cost, fewer color options

Coastal / salt-spray areas, commercial/industrial use

Full Glass Full glass panels. Maximum natural light, strong modern aesthetic. Options: frosted, clear, reflective. Less privacy Commercial showrooms, modern villas, daylight-prioritized spaces

💡

Recommendation: For most residential use, choose double-layer galvanized steel with foam core insulation – best balance of cost and performance.

Step 4: Choose Color

Color determines the final look of your garage door, and also affects heat reflection and how well it hides dirt.

1. Standard Colors (No extra cost)

Color Name Description
White Most classic and versatile. Reflects sunlight, heat-insulating, looks clean
Off-white / Almond Soft and warm, hides dirt better than white
Light Gray / Dark Gray Solid and elegant, matches many exterior finishes
Black Premium feel, higher heat absorption
Black glass Full black glass panels. Mysterious and premium look. Excellent privacy – cannot see inside from outside. Higher heat absorption – heat-reflective film recommended
Walnut Dark wood grain, solid and premium.

2. Custom Colors (Extra cost)

Provide your specific RAL code or a physical sample. We will do our best to match the color of your door, window frames, or exterior wall.

💡Color tips:

  • Light colors → better heat reflection, hide dirt well, make garage look larger
  • Dark colors → premium appearance, but absorb heat, show dust more easily
  • Wood grain → beautiful look with no maintenance
  • Suggest staying within the same color family or moderate contrast with your home's main exterior color
